Private Health Insurance
Our clinic is equipped with a HICAPS machine. Claiming payment from your private health insurance provider can be done on the spot.
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) commenced on 1 January 2014 and provides access to benefits for basic dental services to around 3 million children aged 2-17 years.
At Essendon Dental Group, we bulk-bill patients under CDBS which means there is no gap payment. If you are unsure whether your family are eligible, please click here for more information
Department of Veteran Affairs
If you have a Repatriation Health Card – For All Conditions (Gold Card) the Department of Veterans’ Affairs will pay for most dental services necessary to meet a clinical need, if they are provided under DVA arrangements.
